1.         Lesson Fees.  Fees are due and must be paid in advance for all lessons and may be paid as follows:

·         Single Lessons “Single” lessons are scheduled on a one-time basis and are subject to instructor availability with no guarantee of time for future lessons.

·         Monthly Lessons Monthly lessons reserve and guarantee a standing appointment in the instructor’s regular weekly schedule as long as the lessons are paid for in advance as described in Payment of Tuition.  .

·         Six Month Lesson Plan Under this plan, students receive six months of    
lessons at a considerable discount.  Payment for the entire six month term must be paid in full prior to beginning lessons.

2.        Tuition.  Fees paid on a monthly basis are considered Tuition and are less expensive than paying for single lessons. Tuition is due and payable one month in advance for every month a student is enrolled.  Depending upon the month, tuition is due for as many weeks as lessons will be conducted during that month; usually four or five weeks.  Student tuition guarantees and reserves a specific time slot in the instructor’s schedule each week for the student, making that time slot unavailable to others. 

3.        Payment of Tuition.  All tuition is paid in advance and must be paid by the last lesson day of the month for the following month.  Any tuition not paid by this date is subject to a $10.00 late fee and subject to the student being placed in a different time slot.  Lesson time slots cannot be guaranteed for students whose tuition is not paid in a timely manner. 

4.       Lesson Cancellation by Instructor or Studio.   A lesson canceled by the instructor may be rescheduled for a make-up lesson or the student may receive a financial credit toward future lessons issued to the student’s account.  If the student’s regular instructor becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen absence, RVPAA reserves the right to use a substitute instructor without prior notification to the student.

5.        Lesson Cancellation or Rescheduling by Student.   A lesson canceled by a student less than 24 hours prior to the lesson time or by 12:00 noon the day of the lesson can be rescheduled as a make-up lesson for a fee of $10.00, but is not refundable.  Make-ups cannot be scheduled during the normal lesson time.  If the student notifies the studio of a future conflict requiring a reschedule in advance of paying for the next month’s lessons, the rescheduling fee is waived.  Lessons canceled after noon the day of the lesson are forfeit and not eligible for credit or rescheduling. 

6.       Dropped Students.  If payment is not received by the first lesson of the new month with no contact or explanation, the student may be dropped from the instructor’s schedule.

7.        Payment Options.  Fees should be paid by online by VISA, MASTERCARD or PAYPAL.  In the event the student requires tuition to be paid by cash or check, an additional fee of $5.00 will be added to the monthly tuition and the fees may be paid directly to the instructor at the time of the lesson.

8.       Class Materials.  Students will be required to purchase instructional materials specific to the instrument studied.  Most class materials are available for purchase through the studio E-Store.
