Matt also currently teaches the History of Rock & Roll, Class Guitar,

Studio Guitar, Guitar Ensemble at Mount San Antonio College, Walnut, CA.  In February of 2009 Matt performed at the Music Education/Cultural Exchange GuitarConcert in Kaushong, Taiwan with the intent of introducing the guitar and its music to the people of Kaushong, Taiwan, performed solo and chamber guitar works with Taiwanese guitarist Hsiao-Li Tu to an audience of approximately 250 Taiwanese nationals. Due to the success of the event, another concert tour is being scheduled for the winter of 2010.
